Karl-Heinz Klopf, Chrystie Street, 1986
EXILE is happy to announce an exhibition focusing on the creative exchange initiated by Kazuko Miyamoto in New York and Paul Fischnaller in Linz during the late 1980s.
Between Kazuko Miyamoto’s loft on Chrystie Street, as well as her recently inaugurated artist-run community art space Gallery Onetwentyeight in New York, and Paul Fischnaller’s alternative art space Hofkabinett in Linz a thriving exchange occurred resulting in many exhibition and residency opportunities for artists in both cities.
Participating artists: Markus Fischer, Peter Hauenschild, Karl-Heinz Klopf, Kazuko Miyamoto, Ilona Pachler, Othmar Zechyr, Rivington School, and a music video with Die Mollies.
